This picture forms part of a set of pictures that became part of a series that were displayed in my first ever exhibition. This was taken in Northumberland on the Island of Lindisfarne.

This picture looks landward, towards the impressive setting of Bamburgh Castle. The sea and perfectly timed break in the darkened clouds, adding to this most dramatic of scenes.

Returning to the land, this was on taken on the beach nearby Bamburgh Castle. I, despite having taken the shot, didn't appreciate all the elements in this picture, viewing this on my computer I noticed the clouds and most particularly reflection of the white building in the distance.

This design is inspired from my love of ambient music. It came about whilst messing with a design idea, twisting and turning what I had on screen, gradually morphing into this. It was initially meant for a t-shirt (which can be found in the Ambient Section) although it feels more suited to being hung on a wall.

Once again a design that can be found on a t-shirt. This however was inspired by a painting of mine, during a short run of art lessons I had just after Covid. Sadly time became rare and this was the only completed picture from that period, that despite its briefness was incredibly rewarding.

This images derives from an old photo I took at a Crystal Castles gig. The memory is foggy now, it was somewhere in the UK. I found it in a clean up of old, and thought, despite not being the best, it had potential. I removed excess hands, messed with the shades and colour and was left with this. It's a real favourite of mine, and sums up my art and music angle.

I do look at art and pictures I produce, with a thought in mind of, what would that look like as an album cover. Water's Edge was born from that way of thinking. This started life as a flat picture of puddles after the tide had gone out. Just before deleting I wondered, could this turned into something interesting.

This is another with a record sleeve in mind. Not the happiest of images I grant you. I really like the greens and the shadows of this part the cemetery in question. I added a filter to enhance the green, and tried to give the branches some more presence. It's an image I may well revisit, but for now I'm happy.

This image comes form an old picture taken on a phone, whilst visiting Glasgow Cathedral, on a foggy December afternoon. It's a favourite cathedral of mine to visit, and the picture came out in an eery shade of misty purple. It's a small file so I've had some fun with it.

Another fun picture, taken on a holiday in Spain. These are steps leading into the pool, and I suppose like many, I love how the movement of the water distorts the blue tiles. Nice. Maybe on a wall, you tell me?

An old image this, one that I revisit regularly. It was one of the original images I started with when I first began working on the Cult Image idea, and I know I can still improve. Sadly the original files were lost when a hard drive crashed and burned. At this moment though, I think it's pretty good.

Taken in Central Park, New York, this is picture I'm particularly fond of. It was a bitterly cold afternoon and I really liked this view but it was a quick take, as my fingers were frozen. Back home and I disappointed, I decided to mess around with the picture and came up with this image.

The designs on this set of 4 are an early exploration of mine. I really like Pop Art, and taking relatively bland subjects like this one, a picture of the glitter ball at an LCD Soundsystem gig in Brooklyn in 2021.

Initially intended as a single design, and meant for a t-shirt release coinciding with London shows from the same band. The explosion design was the one colour, but I was messing around and liked the blue as well.

A friend saw the original, blue and red and suggested they would look good as 4 pictures on the wall, and maybe a dayglo type colour, and lime green felt about right.

The red design was favourite of mine initially, although I've warmed to the lime colour. The red was toned down a tad, and though I've never attempted prints of these, thought I'd add them to my gallery. What's your favourite?
