Losing My Faith

Inspired by a trip to Fountains Abbey (where incidentally OMD filmed the video for Maid of Orleans) in North Yorkshire. 

Taken on a cold, grey and very wet December afternoon, this was a photo gone wrong. However, thoughts turned to The Cure's Faith album, that features a foggy type image of Bolton Abbey.

I blurred the image further, enhanced and saturated colours, and gradually it morphed into the design you see now.
